The registration fee is 100 EUR for all participants. This is a non-profit event. The registration fee includes

    • Accommodation for two nights (4th and 5th January 2013)
    • Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and as many Dinners as possible for two days
    • Forum Venues
    • Transport from the hotel to Forum venue and back

UPDATE : We've brought down the registration fee. There are now 3 registration options
a) Full registration, 100 EUR - comes with accommodation, meals 
b) Stay@Home registration, 40 EUR - meals only
c) Forum Only, 5 EUR Per Day - only covers venue rental.
The forum will be hosted by the good people of WUDC Berlin. 

These are the options we are exploring as first choices for accommodation and  forum venues : Meininger Hotel Berlin Central Station (link) and the nice Humboldt University building at Dorotheenstraße. That is exactly the combination used very successfully for the Berlin IV last year (see photos). The distance is walkable and goes by some top Berlin sights. As the hotel (whose standard is somewhere in between hotel and hostel) is right next to the central station, the the train connection (maybe more comfortable in January) is easy.

The forum will begin on the evening of the 4th of January (Check in) and end on the night of the 6th (Check out on the 6th) - That's 2 nights.

On the 4th, we'll have an unofficial welcome for participants to mingle and get to know each other. The 5th and 6th will be a days for presentations (covering debate advocacy, education and competition) and (something new we're trying this year) mini-workshops. 

There are limited places to attend the forum. Registration Closes on the 31st of October 2012.

Registration Process
    • Sign up by going to Since this is not a debate event, you will be registering under the OBSERVER category. 
    • Payment information will be sent to you. Upon receipt of payment, your spot will be confirmed. 
    • Out of 100 available places, 75 will be distributed based on a first-come-first-serve basis and the remaining 25 to ensure diversity. The 25 will be chosen based on those who registered within initial registration dates. Registration deadlines may be extended beyond these dates if caps are not met.
